Oh man, this collection feels so good! Shea McGee always hits it out of the park but for the first time in a very long time, I feel like my design sensibilities are being matched by what is being mass-produced. Over the past 5-6 years I’ve felt like what I desire for my home couldn’t be attained unless it was picked up at an antique store or thrifted. A little-known secret around here is that I detest almost every shade of the color grey. I like warm, cozy, and practical and this collection speaks to me!

I am over the moon at the return of burl wood. I have a few natural burl wood jewelry boxes left over from the 60s, but these pieces are stained just a little warmer and perfectly fit into a warm color story. The Ogden Burled Wood Coffee Table is petite enough that you can use two in a larger room or as a side table for a low-slung sofa. I use trays for everything and at $35. this is a steal. This parsons style Ogden Burled Wood Console is perfect as a sofa table, entry console, or dining room service.

I was in Target just last week sitting in these Kaysville Curved Back Wood Dining Chairs and let me tell you, I was surprised. I first thought the little wrap-around detail was going to be a little too snug on the ribs but the chair width allows for a comfy fit. I also loved the brass 4-Arm Chandelier, it reminds me of Thomas O’Brien for Visual Comfort at a much more affordable price tag!

I have been searching for a lamp like this for about three years. Coincidentally it would replace a decade-old target lamp but I love the olive color and proportions. The classic herringbone pillow feels perfect for Autumn. I like to stretch Summer out for as long as possible but I’m always ready for the extra layer of warmth and texture when Fall arrives. Speaking of warmth and texture isn’t this French basket just perfect for blanket storage? The trophy vase is neutral and perfect for tall branches or as an upgraded kitchen crock.

I wish these two drawer natural wood oval nightstands were released two months ago. My mom has been updating my childhood bedroom and these would have been perfect!
